Farbvision is a self-funded non-commercial space dedicated to experimental solo presentations of new art and sound. Located in Prenzlauer Berg, close to the border with Mitte, Farbvision is situated within a former butcher’s shop directly on a busy section of Schönhauser Alle. The most distinctive feature of the room is undoubtably its decorative wall tiles, which offer exhibiting artists a unique exhibition environment and provide an existing visual structure to respond to. Since opening in November 2015 it has hosted solo-exhibitions by artists including Andreas Eriksson, Tamina Amadyar, Caroline Achaintre, and Claudia Wieser, as well as performances by Jan St. Werner (Mouse on Mars) and Lætitia Sadier (Stereolab). Farbvision is programmed and run by artist Paul McDevitt.
