CAVE3000 is a non-profit art project space and an independent space for art performance in dialogue with visual art. Questioning the generic standardisation of exhibitions, in terms of presentation and documentation of artworks, CAVE3000 hosts, commissions, and initiates new visual art performances by invited visual artists from Berlin, based in Berlin, or currently working in/visiting the city. The invited artists have different individual artistic modes of expression and integrity when it comes to ideas as well as methods. What they have in common is a shared interest in exploring their work in relation to the studio as an experimental site.

CAVE3000 aims to expand the project space/exhibition format outside generic frames and the physical space, in turn creating possibilities for artists whose works is in transition and needs a platform to take shape. In addition to the physical project space in the neighbourhood of Neukölln, CAVE3000 has an equally important online interface version of the space that can be found on CAVE3000.net. Created in 2017 by artist JUL ZABOWSKX the online digital reality offers new ways of working with documentation and the physical space. Additional rooms will be added of past shows, and future ones.
